great percy street
london. uk
this 4th floor refurbishment situated just off the exquisitely preserved percy circus gardened roundabout aims to open up a once gloomy and compartmentalised apartment. a new roof terrace was incorporated into the design with access from a full width bi-fold door system creating a seamless transition between the outdoor and indoor space. the insertion of a large rectangular skylight in the living area to maximize natural lighting was also included.
we were keen to keep a simple yet elegant aesthetic to the relatively small floor area of the project and accentuate its proportions by adding large mirrored surfaces to the bathroom walls and a brushed steel worktop and splash back in the kitchen reflecting the fantastic southery apect of the property.
