the face of sydney
the city of sydney have recently completed their faces of sydney project which overlayed 160,000 sydney residents portraits to develop the composite male and female portraits of sydney.
what’s particularly interesting is that the project database stored information on resident’s residential locations to that particular suburbs of sydney could be filtered to develop local portraits.
the project aims to put a collective face to the participants of the local action plans and in turn reinforces the human scale within the proposal of the project. click here to read more on the project.
