So… when dealing with a lot of code, scripting can be overwhelming. Some of the best advice on managing complexity came from Jonas Lundberg (ufo_se) who said that ‘in order to control complexity, you need to understand simple systems… then build on layers of behaviour’.

particles for GH3D 101: introduction

this is the prologue for a series of investigations on developing your own particle system within mcneel & associates grasshopper3d parametric plugin for rhino3d. we’re going to start with the drivers for my interest into emergent systems and will follow up on a weekly basis on tutorials for producing various outcomes in particle generation.

veil house – screen fabrication stage

zip terraces

additional the current construction of the shift and veil houses, the sydney office has been working on a number of larger scale developments such as the zip terraces – which seek to reverse the internal to external condition. by providing a 2 level green light well though the centre of the terraces, the central core also services the vertical circulation and provides a first level deck between living and bedroom spaces. click through for further info.
