this is the prologue for a series of investigations on developing your own particle system within mcneel & associates grasshopper3d parametric plugin for rhino3d. we’re going to start with the drivers for my interest into emergent systems and will follow up on a weekly basis on tutorials for producing various outcomes in particle generation.
the veil house project in surry hills is halfway through construction with the structure and external linings now on. we have been working through the laser cut screen design with the fabricator and the project is expected to complete in under three months. (more…)

additional the current construction of the shift and veil houses, the sydney office has been working on a number of larger scale developments such as the zip terraces – which seek to reverse the internal to external condition. by providing a 2 level green light well though the centre of the terraces, the central core also services the vertical circulation and provides a first level deck between living and bedroom spaces. click through for further info.
